Given the operational challenges associated with the final stages of heat recovery in boilers, an innovative and versatile solution has been successfully implemented in new projects: the Water Coil Air Heater (WCAH).

HPB has adopted the WCAH in its boilers as a way to mitigate the negative effects of condensation and corrosion in gas-fired air preheaters with low flue gas temperatures.
