Usina da Mata
Pin Hole Grate
To increase productivity, Usina da Mata invested in technology, expanding its industrial park with a new HPB steam generator, with a nominal production capacity of 250,000 kg/h of superheated steam at 490 °C and 68 kgf/cm².
With this expansion, Usina da Mata’s installed capacity for power cogeneration increased to 70 MW.
A large portion of the ash from the combustion products is reused in soil preparation during replanting.
The emission control system project was developed by HPB to comply with Brazilian legislation and minimize operational costs through higher capture efficiency, reducing water consumption and, consequently, benefiting the environment.
