Revati II
Spreader Stoker System on Rotary Grate
With the goal of increasing processing capacity from 3.5 to 6.0 million tons of sugarcane, Shree Renuka Sugar resumed, for its Revati unit in Brejo Alegre - SP, the project of the second boiler at this plant, with a capacity of 380 t/h of steam.
In the pursuit of maximizing power generation, this new boiler will operate at 100 bar pressure and 530 °C temperature.
This unit already has an HPB technology boiler, producing 320 t/h of superheated steam at 490 °C and 67 bar pressure.
Technical Features
Natural circulation boiler, supported by a steel structure, vertical furnace with membrane walls, single drum, convection bank with smooth superheater tubes of radiant/convective type, designed to ensure steam outlet temperature stability in the range of 75 to 110% of the boiler’s continuous capacity.
The feeding system has dosing feeders specially designed to handle a high percentage of sugarcane leaves mixed with bagasse, and combustion takes place preferably in suspension, with a dual-drive rotary grate for continuous ash discharge.
Two economizers, interspaced with three air preheater modules, are responsible for recovering heat from combustion gases after exiting the boiler.
A gas scrubber of the low pressure venturi type ensures a low level of particulate emissions, with reduced circulating water consumption.
