Heat Recovery Boiler
The Choloma III Plant is the largest installed capacity thermoelectric power plant in Honduras and plays a key role in the country’s industrial development.
The project includes 14 boilers Waste Heat Recovery Boilers (WHRB), which recover heat from the exhaust gases of internal combustion engines used for power generation.
With cogeneration, the plant reaches a nominal capacity of over 280 MW.
