Cerradinho Bio

To support the growth of the largest autonomous distillery in Brazil (with an installed capacity to process 2,800 cubic meters per day), CerradinhoBio acquired from HPB/B&W a new steam generating unit with capacity to produce 400 t/h of superheated steam at 520 °C and 68 bar(a) through the combustion of sugarcane bagasse in a Bubbling Fluidized Bed (BFB) system.

The system operates on an optimized regenerative Rankine cycle with high-pressure feedwater heaters, which greatly contribute to higher thermal cycle efficiency.
