Brookfield Vista Alegre

The UTE Brookfield Vista Alegre was one of the 4 biomass cogeneration plants acquired by Brookfield Renewable Energy Partners, which together have an installed capacity of 175 MW.

Vista Alegre is equipped with a steam generation unit with a nominal capacity of 250,000 kg/h of superheated steam at 490 °C at a pressure of 65 kgf/cm²(g), produced by burning sugarcane bagasse.
