3tentos – Porto Alegre do Norte
Bubbling Fluidized Bed (BFB)
For 29 years, 3tentos has been operating in Brazilian agribusiness with the goal of promoting the evolution of farming alongside producers, society, and employees. The company offers a vertical and integrated ecosystem based on three pillars: industrialization, agricultural input retail, grain origination, and trading.
Currently, 3tentos has more than 145 professionals providing specialized consulting in management, crop handling, and agricultural technology to over 20,000 clients. The result of this effort is reflected in the export of soybeans, corn, wheat, and soybean meal to countries in Latin America, Europe, and Asia.
In 2024, the company announced a growth plan in Mato Grosso, which includes a new corn ethanol and DDG plant in Porto Alegre do Norte (MT), with an investment of R$ 1 billion.
For the project, 3tentos acquired an HPB/B&W boiler with the capacity to produce 120,000 kg/h of superheated steam at 490 ºC under 67 bar of pressure.
The equipment features Bubbling Fluidized Bed (BFB) technology, a combustion system capable of operating with multiple fuel combinations and achieving combustion efficiency above 99.5%.
These characteristics were decisive for enabling the BFB, as the high fuel costs in the region where the plant will be installed make stable combustion of alternative fuels essential.
This will be the second HPB boiler with Fluidized Bed technology acquired by 3tentos, following the successful results of the equipment installed at another industrial unit of the group, located in Vera-MT.
Both boilers supplied to 3tentos are equipped with Electrostatic Precipitators, ensuring compliance with environmental standards by efficiently reducing particulate matter emissions into the atmosphere.
