Product and Service Supply Portfolio
The Water-Cooled Vibrating Grate is composed of finned tube panels mounted on spring bundles.
The panels are driven in pairs, in opposite phases, by a vibrating actuator, providing agitation that ensures greater uniformity and combustion efficiency.
It is a simple construction with no internal moving parts, which allows smooth operation and longer service life.
This grate can be supplied with specially shaped cast-steel top plates designed for burning fuels with high metal content and low melting points, such as demolition wood.
As a standard feature, the panels are fed with water from the boiler’s natural circulation circuit and operate as other evaporative surfaces.
Other high- or low-pressure cooling methods are possible, enabling its application in retrofits of existing boilers.
Primary combustion air is injected through holes in the fins of the grate panels. The pattern of these holes can be custom-designed to meet the primary air demands required by the specific fuel.
This, combined with the independence of air flow for cooling, results in optimal conditions for airflow adjustments.
